Hot Rolled CASING PUP JOINT Tube 

According to the geological characteristics of the oil and gas reservoir and the technical requirements for development and production, the process of establishing a reasonable communication channel or mode between the oil and gas reservoir and the wellbore of the oil and gas well at the bottom of the well is called well completion
Requirements for well completion
1) The best connection condition shall be maintained between the oil and gas reservoir and the wellbore, and the damage to the oil and gas reservoir shall be minimized;
2) The seepage area between oil and gas reservoir and wellbore shall be as large as possible, and the resistance of oil and gas entering the well shall be the minimum;
3) It shall be able to effectively isolate oil, gas and water layers, prevent gas channeling or water channeling, and prevent mutual interference between layers;
4) It shall be able to effectively control sand production of oil layer, prevent well wall collapse, and ensure long-term production of oil well;
5) It shall be provided with layered water injection, gas injection, layered fracturing, acidification and other layered treatment measures to facilitate artificial lift and downhole operation;
6) For heavy oil reservoirs, heavy oil recovery can meet the requirements of thermal recovery (main steam huff and puff and steam drive);
7) The conditions for sidetracking directional wells and horizontal wells are available in the later stage of oilfield development;
8) The process shall be as simple as possible and the cost shall be as low as possible;

Pup Joints are used to adjust the height of full length TUBING or casing strings.

They are also used to adjust the depth of downhole tools.
